Joseph Altuzarra is here. As the 2011 winner of fashion’s prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award, this former design intern of Marc Jacobs and former tailor at Givenchy has got it. I don’t know, maybe it’s the birth city of Paris, or his stint in New York with fashion forward gurus like Jacobs, or his BA in Art and Art History from Swarthmore, but his ready to wear collection and shoes are attracting serious head nods.
The Fall 2012 collection combines all of the designer’s background elements. Beautiful Moroccan motifs. Gold metal trimmings adorning below the knee fringe skirts with central splits and topped with sleek black and navy well tailored blazers bring to mind a suave, savvy, in control 2012 woman, serious, but unafraid of that gorgeous fringe and fuss that ups the ante. That is, assuming you are even able to peel your eyes away from those boots in the first place.

Thanks Mandy for your comment. You have a nice site. Chao!
Loving the black dress. He is right on time with the high split-looks like this trend is making it’s way back in…
I love the navy blazer and baggy blue pants with boots. It’s so casual and still stylish.
